The treatment I received here was worse than any retail place I have ever been. To start I brought my truck in to fix an issue with my 4wd xsfr case and some other things. I took the mechanic for a drive to show him what the issue was and how to make it happen. The problems all started when the mechanic called me a couple of hours later to tell me that for $250 he wanted to drain the fluid to see if there was anything wrong with the xsfr case. I asked him didn't I just show you the problem? Didn't you hear the noise and even feel it in the floorboard? He said yes. I then asked then why should I pay $250 to see if there is an issue? We already know there is an issue. There is a time and a place to upsell the client. This was just wrong. That was June 25. I was given an estimate of between $500 and $2800 if total rebuild for the job. I didn't hear from them until I called on July 3. On that day I was promised I would be kept in the loop and get an update that day. I didn't. I called on Monday July 6 now 12 days after I dropped it off and was originally told that the rebuild shop usually takes 2-3 days to do the job but they were going to find out why they didn't have it. I can't say enough good things about Lighthouse Automotive Solutions. I was first introduced to them when my son's rack and pinion had been improperly installed elsewhere, and they fixed the bad installation quickly and correctly. More recently, they went above and beyond diagnosing an issue with another one of our vehicles. They spent hours carefully looking everything over before giving us their honest, best estimate of what actually needed repair — no upselling, no guesswork, just straightforward answers. Their honesty and quality of work are exactly what you hope to find in an auto shop. I wouldn't trust my vehicles with anyone else, and I recommend them without hesitation.

I have been coming to this shop for as long as I can remember. Nick and Danette run a great business. The mechanic Matt is first class and great at what he does. One thing hard to find these days, especially in car repair is honesty. They are that! Got my business for life.

I had a great experience with the customer service, quick wait time and cost for my annual vehicle inspection. I have recently moved to the Woodlands and the employee working the desk gave me really useful information for where to get my 2027 tags.

These place is fantastic, I’ve taken my vehicles to Christian bros and Adam’s, I always feel like they are ripping me off. Lighthouse change my breaks, shocks and a few other items and with way better parts and cost that the other auto shops around. The service was excellent! I have found my woodlands mechanic. Thank you!
